The London Salon of Photography is a unique body of photographers, from world wide membership, whose sole aim is to exhibit, annually, the very best of pictorial photographic imagery. Membership of the Salon is by invitation only and the roots of this organisation go back to the year 1893.
The Royal Photographic Society
The RPS was founded in 1853 'to promote the Art and Science of Photography', a mission it continues to this day in the United Kingdom and through its considerable overseas membership.
The PPC is a photographic club whose members circulate darkroom prints, digital prints, (maximum size 7" x 5"), or projected images by post in the U.K. Membership costs very little. Their web site has full details and galleries of images submitted.
