Field Trip Report – Conistone 24 July
For the fourth field trip five members went up Wharfedale to meet at Conistone. The trip was to take a leisurely walk up Scott Gate Lane to the limestone pavement at the top. The lane itself proved a good location for wild flowers and the insects they attracted, but perhaps we were a week or so too late to fully enjoy the the flowers as they were a little past their best. Anyway the group set to with tripods and cameras, and an enjoyable morning was had by all in a glorious location.
