These are the second digital competitions of the season when members will show their applied photographic skills in three categories:

The latter is a new category this year already seen in the earlier print competition which attracted a good number of entries. It will be interesting to see how the digital entries compare.

In all three categories the golden rule is that there should only be minimal essential adjustments to image levels and cropping of a single image to show it as originally seen by the photographer. In other words it should be a true record. Some of the images submitted last year did not fully meet this criteria and the expectation this year is that this will not be repeated. We will wait to see what the evening brings.
